Giuliana Fonzar was born in Terzo d’Aquileia in 1958. Since childhood, she has been passionate about colours, fabrics and tales. As a teenager she drew, painted, knitted and created bags with various techniques.
In 1977 she decided to focus on needlework, abandoning painting.
She only discovered the patchwork technique in 2010, and she started to take courses to learn various quilting techniques.
In 2014, after embarking on a spiritual journey, she decided to create artistic quilts: her childhood dream came true. Giuliana calls it ‘an unexpected gift’, for which she is highly grateful and thankful.
